The Innovation Initiative & Vision
The Innovation Initiative & Vision (TIIV) was a professional development curriculum project I started at the professional business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. This project was completed in Fall 2024, in my role as Vice President of Professional Activities.
Problem
Delta Sigma Pi (DSP) is a professional business fraternity, with the goal of providing professional development and career resources to its members. Throughout my time at DSP, I had gained mentors, friends, and the support to help jumpstart my college career. However, I realized on a foundational basis, DSP had declined in it's offerings and professional standards, so I wanted to solve this problem.
Initial Ideation
I started to brainstorm a new professional development curriculum that would revamp the professional standards of the organization. Ideating different names, I eventually came up with the name "The Innovation Initiative & Vision", or TIIV.
The project went beyond just a professionalism curriculum, becoming a organizational restructuring program. I ideated how different positions on the executive board would collaborate and tackle events/projects together.
Events & Competitions
I lead my first big event with the "Enterprise Challenge" competition event. This was a recruitment event for DSP, where we had attendees compete as companies trying to innovate a new product within 1 hour; essentially a mini-hackathon event.
The next crucial events I led was a Professional Development Workshop series, where I brought in speakers from Amazon, Salesforce, and Cintas to cover professional development topics like building your LinkedIn & resume.
Design & Brand Identity
Wanting create a cohesive brand identity for this project, I created 2 logo variations in Adobe Illustrator. I wanted to create an arrowhead shape out of the TIIV letters, going for a corporate and sharp aesthetic.
Additionally, I created a Professionalism Newsletter in Canva, where I included career certifications, on-campus clubs, and professional resources like resume templates, LinkedIn guides, and internship application trackers.
Project Management
The final part of TIIV was leading a committee of members to help me deliver upon my events and resources. I led a team of 5+ committee members, delgating work across graphic design, social media marketing, event management, and creating internal resources.
One of my first notable leadership roles, this experience taught me how to delegate and support people's specialities within team settings. It also radically ensure the success of my events and deliverables.
Other Deliverables

Throughout this project, I have gained insight into leadership, entrepreneurial ideation, and brand concious design. I was able to ideate and test new event ideas and curriculums, explore my design perspective through deliverables like the newsletter and logos, and tested myself as the leader of a committee of 5+ members.
